There are an unbelievable 250 million un-used mobile phones lying around kitchen drawers and storage cupboards in the UK.
Many charities can put their collection and retail channels to use by gathering unused mobiles as a central collection point. S3i then collect all these handsets in bulk from each collection point and then wire funds for the mobiles collected.
We pay anything between £5 and £65 for old mobiles – depending on the condition and model – which is great news for each worthy cause and of course the environment.
Our computerised IT systems provide detailed breakdowns of where mobiles were received and what resale value was achieved per individual handset.
