Non Exec Director
Ken Lewandowski is a microwave engineer by training and after spells working with a number of companies in research and development in airborne radar he moved into sales and marketing, distribution and general management.
In 1989 he was appointed to his first full P&L responsible role in Greenpath Connectors Limited, then a subsidiary of Peek PLC. In 1992 he joined Avex Limited as Chief Executive of the £45 million contract electronics manufacturing business.
After the very rapid turnaround of the loss making business he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of this $1.4billion Worldwide Corporation based in Huntsville, Alabama.
In 1995 he returned to Scotland and established the Walker Dickson Group which was successfully sold to Pentair Inc, in 1998. After that time he has established and divested other businesses and also worked with Banks and Venture Capital Companies to rescue, turnaround and divest several other distressed enterprises. Most notably these include the Frazier Group, Brands Electronics and Ingenco Limited.
Ken is a fellow of the Institute of Directors, a member of the Institute of Management and has chaired a number of Scottish Companies including, VIS Entertainment, Nallatech Limited and Mono Global Limited.
He is a Director of The Incorporation of Goldsmiths of the City of Edinburgh, a former Chairman of Hibernian Football Club, Chairman of the Clydesdale Bank in Scotland and is the current Captain of Loch Lomond Golf Club.
Ken is currently working closely with S3i to help drive forward the company’s acquisition and growth strategy during the next 24 months.
