Philip Johnston is an Entrepreneur with a proven track record growing and building highly profitable companies within the Mobile Phone Repair Industry.
A qualified Electronics Engineer with over 20 years experience in the Mobile Phone Repair business, Philip has spent most of his career in Senior Management / Board level positions working closely with some of the UK’s leading technology Entrepreneurs.
In 1994 Philip became Managing Director of a small Group Subsidiary Company called Westwood Communications Ltd and over a 9 year period grew this loss making business organically from 6 staff initially to become an industry leading player with over 300 staff generating £14M of sales with pre-tax profits of over £1,800,000.
Clients included: Nokia, Motorola, NEC, Panasonic, Sony, Three, Orange, Vodafone, Unipart, Ericsson and Benefon.
In June 2003 Philip decided to exit TRS and launch a new highly innovative company called S3 Interactive Ltd – this new business venture would specialise in the Repair & Recycling of Consumer Electronic Devices.
